Re: First startup OXE, novice question
I I have tried luck with other usb-serla converter:
On the GD-3 I got this message:
U-Boot 1.3.0-rc3 (Mar 5 2010 - 11:50:23)
U-Boot 1.3.0-rc3 (Mar 5 2010 - 11:50:23) 3
U-Boot 1.3.0-rc3 (Mar 5 2010 - 11:50:23) 3
U-Boot 1.3.0-rc3 (Mar 5 2010 - 11:50:23) 3
On the CS-2, I got a message asking me if I want to activate a high security leven on server, I chose no and then the session freezes.
Summarizing: Now I was able to connect my PC to OXE through the serial port on bot the GD-3 and CS-2, but I can't type anything neither on the GD nor the CS.
Does those messages tells something important?

Re: First startup OXE, novice question
yeap.
your CS-2 install is not finished, better find someone that has done omnipcx install a few times before, and let him do the full install.
you have some part of software on hdd (on the CS2) like a broken windows install, and need to reinstall
btw: you should be able to choose N, but iirc you need to have turned on the omnipcx install application with the same software, no point in trying that, i think - if it has no config, better to do full reinstall from the scratch...

Re: First startup OXE, novice question
Hi again Mr krzysioD
Just to let you know, I finally could get access to OXE =)))). My problem was the cable I was using (a normal standard TIA B)d , but I made an own cable with a configuration used on the file that I have attached.
Thanks for your help

Re: First startup OXE, novice question
I have the same problem with my serial interface. What type of cable do you made?
