OXO and SIP??

OXO R5.1 is fully compatible with SIP?

Can we use sip phones such as linksys 942 or softphone such as sjphone (in SIP mode)?

We have 2 OXO R4 with 8 VOIP trunk-channels, we have plans to upgrade the version r5.1 for SIP phones uses or softphones for international offices uses as well.

could you make me a recommendation about these items?

Fully or not fully. SIP is evolutionary protocol. Today you have full support, tomorrow - no, because implementation of new features. By the way, you must pay to have in sjphone support of G729 codec, that you will be use in OXO. In the May 2007 we will have Release 6.0 of OXO. There would be some improvements of SIP.

As I know the OXO doesn't support the SIP subscribers. Only the SIP trunk or network is supported.
Maybe in R6.x ?

OXO R5.1 work fine with Softphone like SJphone and other.
BUT it's not working with SIP trunking (SIP Provider). This functionnality come on Rel. 6.0 (April - May 2007).
