Fibre Module

Hi,

Im new to fibre model .As of now we are using Hp Procurve 3500yl 24+4Ports there we have 2single mode and 2 multimode Ofc Uplinks .now we are going Replace with Omniswitch 6850 48 Ports. Is this fibre cables are supported to the alcatel 6850 48 port switch...? or else which gbic i should buy to support these fibrecables. We are using one side Hp Products and Other side alcatel Products.

Before Connected to the switch what are all things i should check

Remote End we are using Hp Procurve 3500yl.
