Hey,

Have had similar thoughts, my guess is, if the documentation is written by someone who doesn't work for Alcatel it may be ok.
:D If it is Alcatel written, then we are probably in some violation.

I was thinking of setting up a local replica of the tech stuff from the BPWS, but this may compromise some of the ACSE & BP agreements

Anyone else had any thoughts?

You both had a good idea..
I found some site in russia where they have the alcatel documentation on line. I don't know if we could do it. Maybe we should talk with Alcatel ?

Doc's

I spoke to Alcatel Australia the other day regarding getting some documentation and basically laughed at me and told me they only distribute "System Information" to Alcatel Certified Profesionals - Ie. Not those of us who are new to Alcatel. I doubt theyd be happy with people putting sys docs on a site. But then again - Im sure Alcatel head office are much more friendly :)

I have a lot of the R5.1 documentation, in English.

I didn't see anything saying "confidential" or "private" on the documentation, but I'm not so sure I should post it.

I would like to get some R6.0 OXE documentation, but I don't know how we could go about sharing that information without upsetting Alcatel. Any suggestion ?
