Good afternoon.
Q1.Can some one please tell me which is the most accurate CLI command to use to identify when a physical NW port was last active as in receiving traffic and hence obtain a Date and Time stamp from the switch?
Q2. Does any one know which MIB Object or OID to interrogate via SNMP to obtain the same Date and Time stamp from the switch as requested in Q1?

Re: Last Time (Date \ Time) Stamp when a Switch Port was act
Hey one6f I would like to thank you for taking the time to ready my post and furthermore provide me with a quick solution. Keep up the good work my friend.
Please tell me as I am new to Alcatel Switching and \ Alcatel CLI.
Where on the web can I find the best information to get a good understanding and grounding into Alcatel Switching and Alcatel CLI?
Also if you were a Network Manager and you wanted to see a particular graph that represents the performance of a live 6850 edge switch, what would it, could you suggest a few things for me please?

Hi,
Official Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch documentation available at Alcatel-Lucent Resource Library
As management is OmniVista 3.5 (you can free test it for 5 devices) including statistics graphs and switch health. For monitoring is Nagios & Co responsible.
