Hi! - I moved the server over the week end to handle the daily incoming connections (about 200K/day) but it looks like I aimed too low for the resources. I'm going to have to move this server (hopefully for the last time) this week. I'm sorry for the interruption.

No 4760i in R10.0

Post by Wolfis »

Hallo,

I read in TC1449 (Installation Procedure for Version J1.410.34.c Release10.0):

(3) As of Release 10.0, OmniVista 4760i is no more supported and can’t be activated anymore. Use mgr or OmniVista 4760 to configure the OmniPCX Enterprise. In case of upgrade to Release 10.0, the application will be deactivated, if previously activated.

So, Alcatel put the 4760i out of the system again, or does somebody know that the tool will be available in future?

Regards

Because the next generation of Open Touch will use 8770 as the single management interface, it is doubtful 4760i will ever be brought back. That was the greatest tool ever for smaller sites that didnt purchase the full version.
