SIP Device-outgoing call through PCM MF R2 trunk not working

Hi

System is pcx enterprise, rel 9.1, when making out calls from SIP extension then it work but when the same directory number configured as sip device then we can't make external outgoing calls through the PCM R2 trunk (incoming is ok). It say called num unobtainable or congestion...busy tone..etc, If we make calls using anlog trunk then it work. So SIP device using R2 trunk not able to make outgoing calls. Anyone here can help to solve this problem,please.

Hi,

in R.9.1 when u declare sip extension means it register directly to oxe as a normal users..but when u want to declare sip device u need a sip trunk group, when TG comes in picture u have PNC and conncetion cos plus overlap dialling will not work it has to be professional trunk siezure...but u can analyze the issue with traced command it may help you..

We are using the prefix of professional trunk siezure, all PNC and COS checked already by Alcatel technical support, still no solution. Alcatel is saying that may be something wrong with R2 signaling with SIP device!! anyone here usingrel 9.1, sip device and pcm r2 trunk and it's working fine for outgoing external calls? Any advice to solve our issue would be a great help.

Send just "motortrace 2;traced" logs when SIP device and SIP extensions are calling R2 destinations.
That would be sufficient.
And just in case- have you checked whether Connection Category 5 (for TG-TG connections) is "1"?
