Hi Paderb
sure I know the basics and btw the ACSE certification for OXO is crap
I agree with with you, ACFE and ACSE are a crap. Think, I have worked with Alcatel since 1993 (I know a lot of people do it too), OXO since R2. We do maintenance about 150 OXO and we need to pay about US$ 7,500.00 for OXO ACFE and ACSE ( US$ 12,000.00 for OXE withot corporate and CCD). My boss doesn't want to pay this money I learn how to block sets. The problem is OXE and OXO are very good systems agaisnt other equipments... A-LU does what it wants with the price of training. Tot3nkopf wouldn't want to say that. Be sure, nobody says speed dial doesn't obey ARS table in training, at least in Brazil.
another idea would be to change the names, like Asmith and Bsmith, so the users just have to search the names with an A or B before the name, lol.
Yes, two entries with different names is the solution.
in my opinion the OXO isn't able to do real multi company, like OXE can.
I have an opinion done, OXE and OXO aren't the same thing.
They have different ways to do the things.
OXE comes from 4300M, 4300L, 4400.
OXO comes from 4100, 4200.
You know.

Hello Paderb,

In the old OXO release (R7.1 and prior), the system uses the common speed dial category (class) to manage the traffic sharing.

A new noterworthy address is available since R8.0 : CSDLinkCat
default value is 00, same behavior as in old releases
value 01=> system uses the internal caller category to check the trunk access rights.

This resolves your problem but as you said OXO does not allow to setup a real "multicompany" system.
