Salary In Australia

Post by bigmac »

Hi All,

I am thinking of relocating to Oz and was just wondering if anyone would be able to guide me as to the type of salary an ACSE with a contact centre specialization should be looking for?

Cheers

Maybe you sould name the salary level in your home country (The Ireland?) and place that you have worked: directly in ALU, ALU sub-contractor, BP with what level of accreditation and in what areas, or ABPP etc... then, this could be any level of comparison. Also how much you spend in your local currency for things like new car, or monthly rent for a apartment etc..
Please note that at no time I will provide you with OXE/4400 nor AOS releases.
Note that it's our private time, that we spent to help you, so please don't expect complete solution for your problem.
You will need to do homework by your self.

In OXE what level of ACSE Business or Corporate? What Release ? When are you thinking of coming to Australia? How many years have you work on the Alcatel systems? Need to have a clearer definition of what work you have done before anyone can answer those types of questions on wages.

Oldboy I take your point but I am not looking at specifics more a range within 10k but here you go

- R8.0
- Business (but have configured networked systems)
-This year
- 5 years Alcatel for BP with highest accredidation
- 10 years Avaya before that (all contact center)

I would say maybe 60K maybe a tat more, but i guess the BP's need to see better info and they make decision from there.

Wow that is surprising would have thought more than that...I found this doc last night and the figures on pg 26 certainly would suggest more..

Oldboy makes a good point (where do you place yourself in the tables) also where about in Aus are you looking. I went through all of this a while ago and there are a lot of factors to weigh up. The doc you posted if fairly accurate in my experience, so good ball park figures to start thinking about but remember those are base salaries and may not include things like car allowance etc, research the Aus BP's and try figure out where you would fit in best
Good Luck with the move
