My Current Phone

Hello All,

I have been tryng to get MIC installed on PC configured with all the services. While config is done by book, and all the common services like telephony and one number services are working, I still cannot get My Current Phone settings working: When I choose one of the configured numbers as my current phone, it gives info that 'Request in Progress...' and that's it - current number is not changed and is still set to 'business phone'.
Does anybody know what could be wrong and how to troubleshoot this?

Hello All,

I have figured out that the 'My Current Phone' menu in MIC corresponds to the user's NOMADIC functionality, which was not enabled for the user in the OTUC -> USERS -> Telephony Services -> line config. As soon as I checked the boxes there I was able to change the current phone.

Hello,

Strange thing though is that if I use SIP extension as a phone and login to MIC with SIP, My Current Phone menu is not available and is greyede out, even though this user has all the nomadic setting enabled.

Does anybody know how to troubleshoot this and make MY Current Phone meny available for SIP Extension user as well?

Current phone is always greyed out when using SIP, as nomadic and SIP are mutually exclusive
