ICS 6.1 DNS issue

I installed ICS 6.1 and for Call server FQDN I put oxe.company.com. I change my linux host file and this is working fine. But I need to know without changing host file can we change this in OXE. if yes from where ?

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly.
Normally you will use an external DNS server to translate the fqdn of the oxe into the OXE ip-address and vice versa.

OXE has nothing to do. As your linux box first request the host file and it finds oxe.company.com then it proceeds, if not will go to your DNS server and request there for oxe.company.com
What do you want to achieve??

Thanks all, I though we need to configure OXE as well. it seems what I did was right.
