OmniPCX 7.1 Omni Office Direct line

Post by benjamind888 »

I am new to configuring OmniPCX and hoping some one can help me.

I finally configured our system so that when a user makes an outgoing call their direct line (extension) caller id shows.
eg our ISDN 10 number is 089****300 with a 100 number Indial range. When a user makes a call their caller id shows as 089****377.
So that works fine.

However, when a mobile (outside call) tries to call the users direct line number, all the Attendant Group phones ring. No matter what number in the in dial range is called, all the phones always ring.

How can I configure it so that users can be contacted by their direct line and only their phone rings?

I have attached screenshots of my configuration

Sorry, but you have installation number, beginning with 89****, and not with 089****. May be that's problem?

Hi

First of all you need to know how many number you public carrier sends, 3 or 4 normally. In yor example can be from 300 to 399. In public numbering plans you need:

Start 300
end 399
Base - This is the magic, it needs to be the same as principal numbering plan for extensions.

You have at the principal numbering plan extensions as S:2500 E:2599 B:100, you will need to have at the publica numbering plans S:300 E:399 B:100. 089****300 rings 2500, 089****301 rings 2501, 089****302 rings...

Best regards.
