how to install OXE on VMWare

Dear all,

Can some one please tell me how to install OXE on VMWare. Since I'm new to OXE please be kind enough to make it from the very beginning.

As per my undastanding we use normal VMware for this & normal OXE file and PC installer. is it ?

no on pc installer you have to choose blade server and don't forget for your network adapter be bridge with your real network adapter,after booting your vmware boot from network and continue...let me know the result.

in my mind the virtual box is more friendly than vmware.

As you said I went through virtual box & it seems very good. I'll go forward with birtual box. I will intstall it and try to install OXE. Please help me if I stuck. I'll let you know the proceedings.

I installed vertual box & try to install OXE R9 but couldn't do it. can any one please give me step by step procedure or screen shots if you dont mind.

ok but it is necessary to mention you need act shelf or oxe hardware for running your machine.in your act you should put initip card on shelf 6 and connect to it with v24 and set it intipb.......

But actually I don't want to run real OXE using VM ware. I just want it to learn my self here at my home. I have oxe at office where I can do testing and all that. but when I'm at home I need sort of vertual OXE system.
