Migrate OTUC IP address

Post by archastro »

Hi Guys,

We migrated an OTUC's IP address when a customer moved site, but since then Tomcat hasn't been playing nice. The IP address change was performed by modifying the bond0 config file in /etc/sysconfig/network, which was successful and we can connect to the unit on its new IP address.

However we can no longer access the OTUC web interface, and as a result we can't reconnect it to the new IP address of the OXE.

Has anyone done this before and can help out?

Thanks!

I forgot to search the old forum before I posted... http://old.alcatelunleashed.com/viewtop ... =41&t=2853

Also, where is this mystical 'rehost' script? I can't find it for love nor money.

It is on the DVD under /Servers/Complements/Scripts/Linux/

Well, the main problem at the moment is that the system is release 4.1, and the closest DVD I can find is 4.0, which doesn't have a rehost script.

I'm not sure if it'd be wise to run the rehost script from 5.0 - it was fairly different from 4.1 as far as I know.

I don't suppose anyone who has a copy of the 4.1 DVD could send me a copy of the rehost script (or the entire DVD)?

Sorry in 4.1 is it not possible. There is no rehost script. Seem you must install your server new

Just reinstall the Application Server again, not the whole server

Yeah, now that you mention it, cavagnaro, the Application server is the only service which fails to start. I'll give it a try. Thanks :)
