How to Load Voice Mail

Hi OXE-Gurus,

can someone please explain me how to load Voice mail software to Alcatel R9.0 Common Hardware?

Which one A4645?
You just have to enter the Voicemail type to A4635 and the IP address of the CS which has to host the Eva 4645 in mgr under Application - Voicemail.

Yeah, nothing to load.
Just install the phone software, and create the voicemail (application / voicemail).
Il will format the partition by itself and create whatever is needed.

I want know that when i load fresh chorus to CS, do i need to load voice mail software again separately? or when i loaded the chorus is it include both software chorus and voice mail?

I believe that Chrystel hardware we need to load voice mail separately through Boot-net & Boot-pd.

I would appreciate your voluble comments.

Hi Afeef, the 4645 voicemail application is loaded on the cpu when you load the CS. It is activated when you set a voicemail directory number and select 4645 type. You then will need to enter the ip@ of the CPU. once that is done the CS will format the voicemail partion and start crystal 18.

Hi murraya, is OXO CPU3m working as a GD? because my GD card is faulty, at the moment i don't have spare GD card.

Could work - but never tested.
For the voicemail you need of course the OPS Locks for A4645 Users...

Hi

someone please explain me how to create mail box in 4645

when i set the voice mail directory number CS created the voice mail partion and started crystal 18. but when i dial voice mail directory number it says number is not authorized,

from prompt type vmail this will show status of vmail ports. from config 18 are both boards in service?
