External/Internal ring tone

On OXE, you can modify Tone 29 and 30 for different tone for Internal and external call ring tone.

Is there a option that can program on OXO that have same function?

i just found out that it is possible to have different tones for internal and external ringing on OXO.

I just finished writing a tutorial but it is still in german.

I found one Technical communication Title" Noteworthy_addresses". That you can modifiey Tone Ring and other thing.

I also enconter the issue with Tone. Is there a way to differentiate between the normal tone and ARS tone. I setup user with ARS for normal trunk for local call and least cost route on long distance. when user press press "0", it has ARS tone, user would not able to tell if "0" pressed or not. It is the same tone as you dial internal extension. User need to hear different tone between internal extension and ARS tone.

Any thought on this.

Hello,

the "noteworthy addresses" you mentioned were the basic for my "documentation". I got them in 4 different versions but in the end they are all the same.
I thought that it was not explained very well and so i wrote one (in german) on my own.

I will try to get some information about the thing with the ARS Tones but this can take some time.

I just found out that my documentation only works for Refelexes terminals. It doesn't work with analog telefones, 4019,4029,4039 oder IP Terminals.

If someone has an idea how to change the ringtones of this terminals, please post or PM me.

For analog phones you can change only cadence's and duration of different phases of cadence.

To macosx: about ARS tone.
I think, You can switch off ARS tone by using "Keep" instead of "Drop" in Internal Numbering Plan for ARS entries. Of course, You need to change ARS table after that, because you have additional digits in number.
