IP touch registered on digital board

Post by alaint73 »

Hello,
It's seems a total nonsense, but this is happenning to me many time,
I have my technicians on site deploying phone right now, and some IPT 4038 are coming up and when I do a listerm Cr Cpl ( on a UAI16 board) I can see them register on a UAI16 board! it seems weird but It happen to me twice, yesterday and today.
any idea why?
the IPT is in service and by doing a rstcpl of the digital board it becomes OOS, and the only option to fix it is to deleted it and rebuild it
so two questions:
1) why can this happen in the first place? is there any mistake by the technician leading to that? if so what mistake may allow OXE to accept an IPT registration on a digital board?
2) is there anyway to fix that without deleting and rebuilding the set?
thanks in advance

if you describe a problem like this then you should always tell
us the OXE version e.g. R9.0 h1.301.34.

I've seen 4038 / 4068 set type in case of CCD agents ALU
meens this is normal, but the sets does not block after
board reset.

How did you put the sets in service (prefix IN/OUT service?)
Did you used automatic type identification? Maybe this feature
is working wrong?

The release is R8.01, G1.503.24

I'm not on site,, the technician on site have been instructed to do the resurrection, all set are created ( IPT 4038 and digital 4039 ) with 255, 255, 255 as equipment address.
