External Caller ID

Post by tsunami »

Good Day!

I am using an OXO R7 compact edition with AMIX board. Will I'll be able to configure it in such a way that I can get the caller ID of the external calls.

Please help anybody. Thanks...

I ticked the CLIP feature on the analog trunk but still I can't see the external caller ID, it still displays, line 1 or 2...

It does because before it was connected to OXO, we are using a caller ID device.

OXO support now only one method of CLIP: if the CLIP information is transmitted via FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) asynchronous signals in on-hook mode (during ringing). What type of CLIP you have? One More thing: in the USA - CLIDSP daughter board on APA/AMIX required.

et,
I am not familiar the the type of CLIP used by our PSTN provider. Maybe you're right, that I still need another module for this feature to function well.

cav,

What I mean with before is that, we don't have OXO yet. The trunk is directly connected to the PSTN and we only put the caller ID device that the PSTN provided.

Thanks everyone!!!
