How to play VG or MOH anywhere on the message

Hello,

Could someone help mo on how to configure Voice Guides to play anywhere from VG message? One of our client had asked me if it would be possible to hear a different message/music once the call has been put on hold. At present, the caller always hear the beginning part of the VG once the call is put on hold. I've already check the docs and found the parameter "Voice Guide Start" under System->Voice Guides. It says that if the value is set to "No", the voice guide will play anywhere on the message. I've already set it to "No" but it still wouldn't work. Help Please!!!

Voice guides always start from begining if this parameter is set to YES, otherwise the voice gude will start from the begining for the first call and if during this call the second call appears, the voice gude will start playing from the point where is at that moment. But I think this is not your question. What do you mean " to hear a different message/music once the call has been put on hold" ? Different for whom ?

You're right. I want other calls (i.e. second, third, etc.) to hear a different message from the same VG itself. The client has many products and they want that callers hear a different product when the caller is put on hold. I will just test it again. Thanks.

In that case you have to create a new file in VG flash card which will include these music files. Then you have to create some new Entities in the system and in each one define the different voice guides, which support the music files. Then assign these new Entities in the phnes supporting the different services
