4019 has no keyboard, so your out of luck there.

You can switch the names in the first and last name fields, but if you have 4645 voicemail, there is a canned prompt that says specifically says dial by last name if you use the dial by name on an auto attendant, this is really confusing for callers :D

I assume this voice guide could be found and modified one way or another, but I've never had the time or patience to figure it out.

It would be nice if this was configurable, so customer could decide.

Cav.

When you fill up UTF-8, it allows you to search by first name, without creating aliases ?

Apparently a user alias or the UTF 8 is the way to go...

Hi all,

I have tried to add the UTF-8 parameters. But the problem I'm facing my set name is also changing and its following the UTF-8 values. I don't want this as the extensions are created from Active Directory. Please help me in a solution where I can search by both 1st name and Last name without changing the phone name.
I'm using Rel 9.1 onsite.

Hoping for a reply.

Thanks

Like Frank said, create aliases in the phone book. We do that on all our sites without problems.
