"log in" greyed out in CCS

In just installed my CCS client on a PC, after configuring the IP address of the CS to connects to at startup ( and reboot the CCS) I cannot access the login, actually, when I go to file--> "log in" is greyed out.. Any idea why?
of course from my PC I can ping the desired CS.
