Hi there, I need some help here....I had been asked to make the following configuration on my OXO R6.1
1.- The manager wants a hunt group (HG) to recevie DDI calls for an information service. the hunt group will have only two members.
2.- He wants that when all the members of the HG are busy with calls, the next DDI call that arrives to the HG will be put on wainting for a few seconds before play a message that saids "our operator are busy, please try later, thanks..." and then hang up the line.
3.- On nigth and weekends, when there are no members are logged in the HG, the people that call to the HG would ear a message ... "our services is from 8:00... , bye"...and then hang up the line.
I made the HG group configuration, and also attached to it the two members, they could login and logout the HG. And the HG it's receiving the DDI calls from out side... So far so good
For the second request. I configured a virtual station (VE), that it's forwarded to its Voice Mail. On the VE's voice mail I configured it as response only VM, therefore when a calls arrives to the VM, the caller will hear the message and then the line would be hangged up.
The HG has an speed dial number (SD) as its dynamic forward for internal and external calls. This SD is a call to the virtual station, I'm using a work around that I found in this forum - THANKS A LOT FORUM - See the link and the last notes from Michi

Second request acomplish ....
But my real issue it's to get the 3rd request.... I tried so many works around, but nothing is working.. Help!!!! any ideas !!!!
Note.- My boss doesn't want to spent money on purchasing the Omnitouch Office Call Center licenses, at least for this first year...

If it is available to you why don't you use the loopback current feature in the restricted numbering planBut my real issue it's to get the 3rd request.... I tried so many works around, but nothing is working.. Help!!!! any ideas !!!!
Create a virtual extension with whatever number you wish (does not have to be DDI) say 1234
Say your DDI number for the H/G is 8711 in the restricted numbering plan create an entry as such
function=loopback current start=8711 finish=8711 base(greyed out) NMT=1 (or whatever is free in the NMT)
and
function=subscriber start=1234 finish=1234 base=(whatever your new virtual is)
In the NMT (number modification table) change entry for table 1 to be
drop=4 add=1234 (this changes your 8711 to 1234)
You can now set up another answer only mbx on 1234 to say "Hi it's Sunday and no one is here and you're stupid for calling at this time please call back when we are open"

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around.
But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.

Re: hunt group message for no attention on OXO
You can simply try using preannouncements on your hunt group (don't know if this works -never done it):
In preannouncement overview add your hunt group EDN the declare first message, only if busy, during call distribution (MSG1 for ex silence followed by message) then see if you get busy tone. On week-ends and public holidays put MSG 2 before call distribution without only if busy being ticked. you should get busy and disconnect as your stations are disconnected from the group.

I checked on a system and while I didn't test it the config should work fine.

I liked your solution krusty (I even noted it). I was just trying to give an alternative I coul think of (even if not tested). Sorry if I offended you. Didn't meant that.

Re: hunt group message for no attention on OXO
No offence was taken I was purely meaning that while I had looked for a somewhat complex solution yours was simple and effective. The
was to show that sometimes we look for a answer that is far more complicated than it needs to be.

Dear All,
I agree with the last post...sometimes we could not see the forest, becouse we have a tree blocking our eyes.....
Reading your post...I decided to setup the system on this way....
On opening hours... on public normal translator.. I put an entry to a hunt group (HG) using the DDI that people on the public side dials...
On closing hous .... on public restricted traslator.. I put an entry to an station using the same DDI number. The station it's a virtual station that it's always forward to the VM, where is the message "our working hours are.....please call later.."
That was all folks!! It works!! the 3rd requierement was acomplish.
Thanks a lot for you ideas.
