Do you have read help in LoLa and make all requiered settings from it? Your PC must have static IP address. When you see the question: Is the dip switch...?, press the button on CPU, wait 5-8 seconds, press OK in LoLa.

Most of the time the issues with LoLa are due to the samba share not setting up properly. Two things you can try are

1. Switch on the trace mode on the CPU (via V24 type 'swap_serial' with 'letacla' as the password) and then reset this will give you more info as to what is causing the failure.

2. In windows set up a full share on the directory that you have the sw in.

But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.

On top of using manual sharing of the folder with full access, a reboot of the laptop can be sometimes useful for that download request. (don't ask me why; it is a simple observation made when using LOLA).

Another trick that might bring you to success:
If your computer has more than one netwok card (i.e wireless), disable all but the one used by Lola.

Hello,

try these steps and Lola should (sometimes...) work:
1. Set the IP adress to i.e. 192.168.92.100, take care, that this IP is the only adress
2. Set the regedit-values (for the path: read the online help) "ipadress" to 192.168.92.100 and "cocpu" to 192.168.92.102
3. Disable the firewall or antivirus-software on your PC
4. Share the folder with the firmware and set the permission to "read/write/execute" to everyone
5. Connect the cpu with a crossed cable to your PC
6. Monitor the startup of the cpu on the serial-Port

Sometimes it helps when you start Lola and nothing happens, that you stop Lola and restart it (don´t switch off the cpu during the restart of Lola).

Hope this helps...

Good luck!

Windows firewall should be OFF not in exception. Lola is waiting for bootp responce from the PBX and firewall can realy mess up bootp
Files should be shared, see Lola help for detailed example.

Good luck
