Making call with TAPI / Pimphony

Post by Wiebren »

The assisted Tapi functions include a function tapiRequestMakeCall to make a call.
When using this function , it will open the dialer of windows a make a call. That works flawless.
Though it would ofcourse be nice if Pimphony would open and make the call instead of the dialer.exe that comes with windows.

My question is how can i change the standard dialer of windows to pimphony or how can i dial somewhat automated using pimphony?

What version of software do the OXO and PImphony have for your tests?

I might had better post this under tools of alcatel under dialer, now that i think of it.

I have Pimphony Pro 6.1 for test. I figured that i can do acophone.exe <phone-number>, i wonder now if there are more commandline parameters.

I also looked in the register and found out how to change the default dialer program though nothing is dialed when call the assited function. So that was kind of a useless register edit.

Any suggestions?

If you are using PImphony release 6.1, the OXO should be release >=5.0, so you have to take account, that since that release, PImphony is not working anymore with TAPI 2.0, just http or https (for WAN workers) is used by this application. If you need to have any TAPI application you need to license the OXO.
