Hi! - I moved the server over the week end to handle the daily incoming connections (about 200K/day) but it looks like I aimed too low for the resources. I'm going to have to move this server (hopefully for the last time) this week. I'm sorry for the interruption.

8008 and 8018, SIP Image LED and Call Log

Post by Bd_business »

Hello.
I have a hotel with 8008 and 8018 running on a 3rd party PBX. All works well, however, the Missed Call logs and Missed call LED are an issue with the SIP mode.

1. We have hidden the call log for security reasons. As guests shouldnt see last guest calls, but this means missed calls cant be acknowledged and so the blue flashing light never goes off
2. On other handsets we work with you can disable to call log, to prevent this being an issue. I can't find this option. Is it available from the CLI?
3. If the log cannot be turned off, is there a CLI command that can be issued to turn off the LED? So we could potentially have our DEV team write something to periodically log into the handset and clear the LED

Your assistance greatly appreciated.

You can do this from the management software, but only if you use OXE as a PBX.
If it's a third party like Asterisk, then it's within asterisk.
