VNA synchronization problem

Post by Roll Up »

There is an IP phone line of type OmniPCX with the number 3333, which works with the Visual Notification Assistant feature. This line is linked to an analog line with the number 4444. When the IP phone 3333 is picked up, the other phone, 4444, rings immediately, and the call connects.

A problem has now occurred. When picking up phone 3333, the other phone 4444 no longer rings. After checking, a direct call was made to 4444 from phone 3333, and the connection worked normally. However, 4444 does not respond to the Visual Notification Assistant feature.

After troubleshooting, 4444 was removed from the Visual Notification Assistant list on phone 3333 and then re-added, but the problem remains. Phone 4444 receives calls perfectly when dialed directly, but it does not ring at all when called through the Visual Notification Assistant from phone 3333. The number 4444 was also removed entirely from the system and re-added to ensure it functions correctly, but it still does not receive calls from 3333 via Visual Notification Assistant.

Also I tried to add a new number on the phone 3333 but still same problem.

Any one Can you provide a solution for this issue or suggest some points for further inspection?

Thank you

Can you share your VNA Design.
Are you using auto dial in the OXE Setting (Class of service) ?
How are you calling the 2 extensions from VNA?
