6860 /6860E Password and Factory Reset

Hello Guru,
I have Alcatel Lucent OS6860 i bought used but not reset to Factory Default . Please i need step by step guide on resetting the password and also resetting the switch to factory default.

1. Resetting the password to factory default.
2. Resetting the switch to factory default.

All help will be highly appreciated as I am very new to Alcatel switches.

I think i was able to reset the password to default using admin / switch
I also did ls -l to list files and directories as shown in the attached snip.
I still need to reset switch back to factory default and so I will need you gurus to help and guide me on step by step procedures on how to resett switch back to factory default setting like when it came new.

Hi, simply delete vcboot.cfg and vcsetup.cfg from the working dir.
Then do a 'reload from working no rollback-timeout'.

Also, you are running a very old version, I recomend you upgrade as you are missing almost 6 years of feature updates and corrections!
