analog trunk

Post by Htc »

Hi guys
I used an analog trunk to connect Siemens (hicom) and Alcatel (oxe) by connecting an analog port from oxe to a trunk port from hicom.

In hicom co trunk board (tmani ) ==========co trunk==============> oxe analog board (sli-16-2)

Now the OXE to Hicom connection is established without any problem but the problem is that if you dial from hicom to OXE some calls are connected but most of the calls are rejected.
I think the problem is in the digit transfer because by monitoring the trunk in hicom I see that the dialed digit is sent to trunk but no digits are received in OXE.
But as I said this is not always and sometimes the digits are received in OXE and the call is established.
Can anyone help???

You have problem with some numbers (f.e. for transit calls via OXE)?
Or the same number sometimes dialed sometimes not?
Problem when you dial number from analogue set or from any?
If you use "redial" feature on the set - problem the same (like for usual dialling)?

When you seize trunk - user hear dial tone from OXE?
When user dial digits - dial tone stopped?
When OXE not reseive digits - user hear - silence, busy tone...?

Thanks vad
My problem wasn't in Alcatel. I found my problem in hicom.
A timer block needed to be changed,by changing it solved my problem.
