Hi everybody,
When installing release 2.1 b3.519.17, what is the answer to the question:
New loaded file?
I know it depends on whether it's a Cpu3 or Cpu5 so what is the right answer in each case please?
The corresponding pdf technical documentation TC0207en answers only the first 2 questions "Standard installation? y/n" and "telephone version?"
And I looked to the TC of the following releases 3/4/5Ux and the answer is there each time.
Only the TC of R2.1 has incomplete information
Thanks to you all
4400 Release 2.1 new loaded file

OMG, It's been a while...
Replace 11.71 with your Chorus version. Chorus version number you get from /pcmao/boot_res/bootp/ path.

Code: Select all
CPU3 board
In the bios menu:
Select the "Bootstrap" option, then "Boot Ethernet".
On the question "New loaded file", enter "#11.71".
CPU2 board
In the bios menu:
Select the "Boot" option, then "Booting From Ethernet SONIC".
On the question "New loaded file" , enter "#11.72".
CPU5 board
In the bios menu:
Select the "Boot" option, then "Booting From Ethernet Network".
On the question "New loaded file" , enter "#11.75".
If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
