VH VoiceHub installation
Hello everybody
So I got a VH (4 slots) for testing purpose (testing different cards). Very practical because it takes less space than an ACT14/28
I can start and manage a cpu3/5/6 connected to the lowest slot.
but I can't test any other card whatever the slot used.
So I suppose it needs a special configuration/database and OPS?
I've created a VH Shelf. Then added the CPU in position 1 (position 0 was rejected). the cpu boots correctly althouh its operational state is "disabled".
Any other card created in slot 2/3/4 never starts.
didn't find the documentation related to the VH after a search of more than 2 months.
Stuck on this for a long while now.
Please help

Re: VH VoiceHub installation
OPS are personalized to your own installation, and are linked to a CPU ID.
Basically, "to each our own"

Ok got it.
I just need something working even for 30 days only.
As I mentioned, i've got a 223 hardkey and need just the corresponding OPS and how to setup the 4 slot shelf
Thanks

Voice Hub boards numbering starts from 1, not 0.Solandsystel wrote: ↑31 Jul 2024 20:07 I've created a VH Shelf. Then added the CPU in position 1 (position 0 was rejected). the cpu boots correctly althouh its operational state is "disabled".

There are two HW versions of VH - VH basic and VH expansion. VH expansion alone would not work as main rack.
Here are some docs

Whoa, that's some old doc. If you have more, I'll give you a FTP to upload it all for my collection

Thanks SO MUCH for those precious infos and doc.
So my VH is a basic one, not an extension.
Would appreciate if there are more advanced docs about this rack.
My primary goal is just to test cards.
But it may be interesting to know how to use all the different specific ports and connectors on this VH
I think i still can not even test cards since i don't have the right OPS.
I thought that having the 223 hardware key with its corresponding OPS would solve it.
Apparently no
