SFP-10G-T is not working on version 8.7.98.R03

Hello,

I encounter a problem on a stack of 6860E-U28.

The client has two 10G copper SFPs.
On unit 1, the Gbic N°1 is recognized and operational, and on unit 2, the Gbic n°2 is recognized but not operational.

If we reverse the Gbic, we reverse the problem (Gbic N°2 on unit1 is reconized but not operational, and Gbic N°1 on unit2 est reconized and operational)
We had the Gbic replaced thinking of a hardware problem but we still have the same problem.

Where can the problem come from ?

check the uboot version with "show hardware-info".
For the SFP-10G-T you need a newer one....

Ok, I'm going to check the version of the uboot, but I think that if the version was not good, the two gbics would not work... not one out of two....

The U-boot is okay. Are your SFP modules from ALE? If no than try to check with one from ALE. Than you can open a ticket. With moduls from other vendors it is no possible to get support.

The client wants to connect a server with two 10G network cards configured in teaming.
He tells me that it is not necessary to create the aggregate on the switch side, do you think that the problem could come from there (no aggregate has been configured on these ports) ?
