Hi,
An external voicemail "FONOMAIL" is added to an OXE CRISTAL R9.1.
I have declared an RSVP group with 4 sets type 4620 CLIP + VPS.
I have the licence CLIP ON VPS.
The problem is that the voicemail don't recognize the number of the caller.
I have tried to set the type to 4010 VPS but the problem is the same.
The parameter System_Option + DTMF For VPS Protocol is true
Please for your help.

I faced a simaler problem after upgrade to 9.1 see below alcatel response
After upgrade to release 9.1 when an extension A is immediate forwarded to extension B on no answer the call takes the associated set and goes to the hunt group of RSVP ports which is voicemail. When the voicemail answers the call there is no message and the call is cut automatically. This issue is there only after the upgrade of OXE from 8.0.1 to 9.1.
Symptom:
Found that this issue is there because of the in band strings of voicemail.
Solution:
Need to match the strings on the voicemail to make it works compatible.
I changed the ports to be 4010 VPS and my problem was solved though

The callers call a virtual UA that is forwarded on the RSVP group and now it works fine.

Eternal voice mail don't recognize the number calling neither the called party
My Oxe is rel 12.0 and i have an external voice mail connected i have created five Analog extension with type 4620 CLIP + VPS. The hunting group is RSVP and the issues are :-
The service provider of the external voice mails claims that On Blind transfer to the Operator 00, the call goes through, but we do
not receive a VPS C to tell us the line is connected, therefore the line
remains busy on our system. We need to receive the VPS signal to tell
our system the line is connected once the Operator picks up. communication between the caller and operator is there.
The other issue is When dialling to VM huntgroup directly, we are not receiving the Calling
Number, it is received as Unknown, so therefore our system cannot direct
the caller to their mailbox. We need to receive the Calling Number to
allow the correct call routing.
Can somebody assist

In this example calling from Extn to the Voicemail Line:
• We receive VPS 7 therefore PABX does not send DID. Hence we get Unknown Called & History Number & Blank Calling Number
• This causes system to intiate BlindCallTransfer to Operator number 00
• Upon BlindTransfer to Operator, when the Operator Picks up, we need to receive a VPS C to allow Voicemail system to hang up the line.
What we ideally need to receive is VPS 2 from PABX & Calling Number to allow the call to be directed to the users Mailbox.
