Analogue lines and automated attendant

Post by selectt_DUP »

Customer has a AA (oxo) with two analogue lines. Lines constantly locking up. Allready adjusted trunk paramaters to polarity reversal (on/then off). Still having problem. Only solution is to disconnect lines from system, line releases and the aa is free to take calls again.
The lines are guarded disconnect from the exchange.
System is relase 6.0.

Any idea ?

Cheers

This and very old question and many times solved.
Check the polarity inverse (battery inverse) on your provider and configure your PBX according to it.

You didnt mention this, but ill throw it in as well.

If you are trying to X Divert the calls, the trunks will lock up for up to 6 hours, u can reduce this to 1 hr tho.

Also uncheck busy tone detection if checked or configure busy tone parameters acording to the one used by your lines.

Just dont do it, upgrade to ISDN
we wont install AA on Analog Lines for the very problems you are having, also remote access is much easier

In alot of place's, the jump from PSTN to ISDN is far to great for most.

Every angle needs to be looked at Dallan :)
