Change Admin Password

We currently log into our switches using Radius authentication. Local login only authenticates if Radius fails to connect.

The problem I'm having is changing the password for the local admin account. It would seem you can only change the local admin account password if you are actually logged into the admin account. The issue at hand is I can only log into the admin account if I were to say temporarily block access to the radius server so it fails and rolls to local authentication.

Is there a way to change the local admin password without having to be logged into it?

have you tried with "user admin password xxx"?
If this doesn't work than you have to login as local admin.

Yeah, that is the method I've tried using. I don't recall exactly what it says, but it errors out saying I must be logged in as that user. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something.
