Omnivista 8770

Hi,
I am running 8770 R3.1 on a PC with windows 7 professional 64 bit but the installation is rolling back at the point of Generation of SSLCertificate. See below log file and assist resolve the issue.

• Make clean installation of Windows OS

• Check that all requirements in Installation manual for 8770, part 3 Server requirements are fulfilled

• Install 8770 again

If the pc is in domain, take it out of or during install. Just a quick Shot!

Execute the registry cleaner .ini file that is included in OmniVista 8770 installation disk and try again. And as our colleague mentions, it is important to have an out of domain server so that there are no enforced restrictions policies.

Due to the new apache version 2.4.20 and VC++2015 redistributable, the following hotfixes and service packs are mandatory.

Operating System Service Pack or Hotfix Installation
Windows 7 – Windows 2008R2 SP1
All OS except Windows 10 KB2999226

Do you try to install SP1 ?

I just solve the problem, like it is written in documentation.
If you have problem with installation that stops on:

Action: Generation of SSLCertificate
FAILURE: generate_SSLCertificate

And you are with Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, you need to install SP1 to make everything work.
