Hi! - I moved the server over the week end to handle the daily incoming connections (about 200K/day) but it looks like I aimed too low for the resources. I'm going to have to move this server (hopefully for the last time) this week. I'm sorry for the interruption.

Re: connect v24 serial to hp proliant DL320e gen 8

Why are you even bothering doing all that? Did anyone try PXE boot install of OXE on the server as a blade server instead of a normal installation using OmniPCX Enterprise Installer? If you do this, you should get your console output on the screen(dev/tty0 as console output) connected to the server ...

Re: PABX Restarted abnormally

Should be able to give you an analysis if I can take a look at the infocollect. Usually the incidents just before the reboot should tell you what happened. Try "incvisu -b 1" and check just before the reboot. Was there a crashdump generated?

Re: IP calls disconnectiong or only hearing one way

I'm so sorry 4 the extremely late reply fher. I totally missed the email for your post. I hope you have already upgraded to the latest h1.301.50a patch and that it solve the issue. You should also run an infocollect in interactive mode and check what you get in the boardinfo command regarding the bi...

Re: How to find career in Alcatel .. Data and Voice.

You need to be trained & certified in the various products that Alcatel-Lucent provides as solutions to its clients: minimum ACFE but better be ACSE Certified. Hottest products include: Opentouch OXE R10.1.1 & R11 8770 etc At least basic knowledge of Linux & Windows, voice protocols, bas...

Re: eZ32-2

Thus, the proper way to avoid problems would have been so: R4 -> R5 ->R8 ->R8.0.1 -> R10. I won't go into details but just trust me on this one. In fact, you can upgrade R4 to R5 then jump directly to R10. I had done such thing. Wrong! Congratulations you are among the lucky 50% of people or so for...

Re: Duplicate managed object instance in 4760 and mgr

Sorry everyone but you are wrong. If the number is present in translator it means it is still defined somewhere. Otherwise either the deletion has not been applied the "remanent memory" in which case a double-bascul or system reboot should solve the issue(which I doubt is the issue at hand...

Re: IP calls disconnectiong or only hearing one way

One-way audio problems are usually related to the GD/GD3/INTIP/INTIP3 boards. Can you please tell me which OXE Release & Patch(command "siteid") has been installed on the site? The problem you are having should probably be a simple issue that can be resolved by installing a patch for y...

Re: cannot delete link bus

Was it a database issue? We will never know since it seems I replied to a 2006 post. :-S Note: If it was a DB issue, you should not correct your database. There are only a few people who are allowed do these corrections because it might create errors in associated tables. Even though I know how to c...
