Problem with international calls

Post by pittas »

Help! I have the following issue when trying to call international to Canada.

After dialing the last digit of the number (13 digits including the 00 for international), I get 'Replace Handset' on the display of my phone and the line closes.

In 'Translator-->External Dialing Plan-->Dialing (Numbering) Discriminator-->0 public-->Discriminator rule' I have the below settings:

Call Number: 00
Dialing area: 7
ARS Route List Number: 1
Schedule Number: -1
Number of Digits: 14

I have tried changing the number of digits to 13 to exactly match the numer of digits for the number but this does not make any difference.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks

hey, thanks for your reply vad. It seems I made a typo error!

Actually my ARS is set to 0 not 1 as I said previously.

A strange thing that I have noticed is that the call has managed to get through some times. I have got the team from our switch side to also take a look on their part

Did you had configured any ARS if Yes
- Which trunk group that cal will rout to
- Then in that trunk group make sure
Number of digit to send has set to appropriated (Ex 13)
Try to use Proffessional TG with overlapping

Note: calling number 00, ARS rout list number 0 where it rout to
Please check ARS rout list 0, ARS rout 1
