Hi all,
I have two OXE that can call each others using an ATM network (T1 trunks). These two OXE are independent. To call over the ATM network, I use an ARS prefix.
I want to centralize these two OXE so I removed the call server of one of them, create a new shelf on the central area, create users and T1 card on the new shelf, add my T1 access to the T1 trunk group.
At this step, these changes are transparent for the customer. Calls can still pass through T1 links using ARS prefix.
I removed the T1 link on my new shelf but I want to keep my ARS prefix to call a user located on my central area through IP (using GD and MADA3).
Is that possible to use an ARS prefix to make internal call between two shelves ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards

You can use internal ARS feature. However I see no point in doing that....

Hi,
In fact, in my operationnal network, I'll have to centralize many OXE.
So during the migration, I'll have some shelves with an active T1 link and some with only IP link.
And I don't want to modify the existing numbering plan (customer is not flexible on this point)
That's why I would like to use internal ARS for some discriminator and external ARS for some others.

Hi,
I can call from my central area to a remote area using an ARS prefix.
But I cannot call from my remote area to the central area using the ASR prefix...
Any idea ?
