Auto attendant not picking up

Post by siptech »

I have a OXO R7.1 that one day the Auto Attendant stopped working and just rang the attendant phone.

I have checked that it is not in night mode and the VMU is on. Anything else I should check?

Any idea on how this happened, I am the only administrator on this PBX. Should I lola or reset the database just to be safe?

Whats weird is that the AA was picking up without a virtual extension forwarding to the VMU.

I create a virtual extension "34" which will goto the AA. I am using analogue trunks so I dont know what the public number would be.

How to I revert to the previous functionality of all calls being answered by the AA without the hassle of a virtual extension?

Does anyone know the missing link to get the auto attendant working again? Dialing 33 gets me to the auto attendant. I have analogue trunks with no public number, what do I enter for the call dist. in the trunk configuration?

1) Do not place any number at the Call distribution. Doing this, it means that the incoming calls will ring at the Attendant Group.
2) At the attendant group, you have to add, all the working voice mail ports.

When I say working ports, I mean licensed ports.
Here in Venezuela I have a lots of system with analog trunks and all of them are configure that way and are workig properly.
