Unable to use NIGHT FORWARD in the Entity

Hi there..
I am running a 5.1.2 (e2.504.1.h). It's a brand new system out of the box, everything works great BUT:
I have 3 entities.
I want one of the entities to have the night mode as an external forward, so I did create a speed dial A3010 with forward as 9908216xxxx which is the 1st Night Routing choice in the entity.. . But when you call this entity at night, it rings rings rings... Now, if I change the A3010 to an internal number, the internal number rings. If I immediate forward the internal number to an outside number, it works.. Any idea ?
Thank you

You want to know that just for information because you've found the solution in putting an internal number instead an speed dial...
I believe that I have had the same problem; perhaps a problem of right but there is not network access category in entity so....
I'm curious too to know why it don't work with a speed dial....

May be this is not a problem. If you use abbr.dialling - you have no public network cat. for this number (incoming calls allowed or not, possible overflow or not ...). For internal number you have category and system know current state for this set - free, busy, os and can decide who must ring.

I'll try to forward an internal number to an abbreviated number and see if the forward follow...

Well, I still have the trouble.
Right now, I have only pots lines connected to the switch, using NIID2 boards. I found something funny:
- Forward a set to an external number
- Call this set from outside
-> Call forwarded outside using line X
-> Caller Hang up
-> Line X stays busy
Other thing: If Night Routing for Entity is set to a speed dial that is an external number, the Night Rouging does not work... Bug or misprogrammation ?

About line still busy.
How system recognize disconnection in you country - busy tone or battery inversion?
If busy tone - do you have right management in System\ tone detectors parameters - On hook tone? F.e. you call outside, outside user hang up - you hear busy tone or display "replace handset"?

Hey Vad,
Thank you for your interest in my prolbem.
Actually, I am working in the US... and I have no clue about the way the analog lines work in this country regarding the busy tone..
I just spoke to someone here and he told me that the CO (Central Office) reverse the polarity when you hang up... Anything you would know that I could do with the PBX ?
Thakn you a lot !

First of all you need to check if you are geting reversal battery on your trunks at all.
If you have it, next step is to check management of a trunk category used for these trunks -> /External services/Trunk category. There are two parameters: Battery Inversion Masking and Masking Release. They work together (True, False combinations). You can get more information in R5.1 System Documentation -> Functional Documentation/Public Network Services/USA analog trunk group/LS-GS trunk group.
If you change these parameters you need to reset coupler.
Good luck!
