HELP! - Multiple Companies - AA will get us busted...

Ok.. we have ourselves, and 3 other companies using our OXO. We are an accounting firm (so are the other companies) and we can't all have the same auto-attendant, since we would have competition issues. This is what we have:
Company 1 has two Centrex numbers into our system, direct dial. These numbers do not match our numbering scheme.
Company 2 has two POTS lines into our system, direct dial. These don't match our scheme either.
Company 3 has three Centrex numbers into our system, direct dial. These don't match either.
We are company 4. We're on a PRI. Our numbers are consecutive (555-2000 through 555-2099).
Here's our problem:
If you call Company 1, and nobody answers, you get forwarded to an extension within Company 4 for voicemail. Company 1 has a general VM box, with their own greeting, but if you press the "*" key, you get Company 4's AA. This is the same with Company 2 and 3.
We were told that we would be able to set either the "*" command to invalid, or set it to replay the VMB message. My partner and I have yet to find this setting in the PM5 software.
Our Alcatel install team, as well as Verizon's team say that we need to have a separate box for each company to do what we want. This is not what we were told, and the big boss is getting upset. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this all work out?
