Hi Guys,
I just upgrade the 4400 from R.4.1 to R.6.2, the upgrade running well and works fine. But when I tried to configured the IP Trunk and PRA Trunk to backup I got there is no overflow.
Ok... here the scenario that I have been done... Let's say I got 2 site A and B. I got 60 channel IP trunk from side A and B (this is the primary link) and also I got 60 Channel PRA Trunk (BackUp Link). I need the system to overflow the traffic through Backup Link if the primary link is down. I have configured the trunk and VPN overflow, when I test to disconnected the IP trunk (Primary Link) the traffic was not overflow to BackUP Link...
I don't know if I forgot some configuration... does anyone have same issue ?
Thanks
Overflwo to Backup not working
As I understand - you have hybrid link with IP signaling and VPN overflow (IP trunk group) but what about PRA - this is usual ISDN TG (and you can use node access feature) or this is second access in hybrid link (with signaling in D-chanel)?
You can use VPN overflow only if you have no problem with internode signaling - just manage two routes in ARS.
If you have only one signaling - IP - and disconnect this link - you can use private to public overflow.
For VPN overflow - used Access COS (VPN cost limit) and Pfone feature COS (Overflow of private to public if busy line) - internode signaling works.
For public to private overflow - phone feature COS (O/S private to public overflow) - internode sigaling absent.

Hi guys...
thanks for suggestion, FYI I have tried to use ARS but still can not overflwo... here my config for ISDN Trunk :
┌─Consult/Modify: Trunk Groups───────────────────────────────────────────────â”

If you unplug cable only from INTIP - in this case you must have signaling. Check with "suproutage" command - you will have signaling.
In you ISDN TG configuration (if VPN overflow with IP TG works) - global parameters REMOTE NETWORK - manage like for IP TG, local parameters - SUPERVISED BY ROUTING=yes.

Secondary access hybrid link
Hi vad,
I worked with moe (the author of this topic), and we are considering using secondary access on the hybrid using D-channel as signalling.
But does it require a license? We are trying to see all the angles before actually doing it. Because its is a very large setup and the security is pretty tight, that is why we have to be carefull of what we are going to do.
Thanks
