PBX would shut down (Power fail) and not restart

Geeee...
I had a good one a couple of weeks ago: I had a site where the PBX would shut down and won't turn on again.
Just behind the little green light in the front of the switch, there is a little electronic component that check the voltage coming in. If it's lower than -46V or higher than -54V (I think), then the switch would auto-shutdown with an error message "POWER FAILURE" or something like that. It was impossible to restart the switch, so we had to shortcut that little electronic box:
Behind the switch, there is the fuse. Behind the fuse, there is this little box where 3 cables are connected (M3 cabinet). We had to put a little wire from the top connector to the bottom one. It worked.
Tonight, I had to change that little stupid electronic component. If you ever have to do it, try to find someone to give you a hand ! The simplest way is to remove the side panel to access the wires. Next time I do some hardware stuff on site, I will take pictures and upload them here.
By the way, I will add a module so we'll be able to upload files and pictures.. As soon as possible.. Have a nice week end !
