Increasing Timer B on SIP call

Post by azhar »

Hello, referring to the log below, it looks like the call is terminated because timer B fires. Its set to 8000 ms but I want to increase it. I have tried changing timers on the SIP proxy, gateway and external gateway to no effect.

I have highlighted the line in red.

Could anyone tell me where is Timer B so that I can increase it?

cheers
Az

Just thought that specifying that its an OXE r9 and the call is a SIP call to a SIP trunk provider might be helpful.

If you read my post carefully, you will see that I have already fiddled with the SIP proxy timers.

Did you restart the sipmotor? Some changes need a reset

Yes, I did reset the sipmotor (killall sipmotor). Anyway, we found another issue. The remote system was doing IP authentication and it was failing.

We have requested username+password authentication and we are waiting for these. Hopefully, it'll just work then.

Cheers
