Redirecting to XRA

Hello everyone,

I'm facing a small issue with remote access via modem (OMC 700 R17.1) - could use a hand on what I might be missing in here.
What I've done so far: configure redirection of an analog trunk to redirect all calls to the XRA (200 in my case): Call distribution -> the line I want to use redirects to 200, both Call Dist. Normal & Call Distr. Restrict, no trunk groups are specified there.
The 200 (XRA) has the following features active: callback, call pickup allowed, UUS allowed, selective diversion, transfer to external, remote substitution; as for services, service 1 is configured as telephone, all others are without.
However, when attempting a call to the line number that's redirected to the XRA via modem dialup, it keeps ringing, but the XRA isn't picking up.
Anything I'm doing wrong here?

Tyvm.

Hi,
When you say you have redirected the analogue trunk to the xra, did you set it in the external lines/list of accesses/ call distribution? If you have, there should be no reason why it doesn't pick up. Stupid question, are you dialling the right number?
Cheers,
SMT

Hi,
Have you put subscriber(which is your XRA) in your public and restricted numbering plan?
Good luck

Hello jan and SMT and thank you for your answer.

Indeed, the issue was about the XRA line number not being in the numbering plan - your answered was helpfull, thank you very much for the support.

If you would allow me, I still have some issues that I have not yet been able to solve - some of them are a bit off the topic title, but if you don't mind giving a hand on them, I would definately appreciate it. Need to mention that I am more than new in managing Alcatel PBXs, and at some points, the previous background I have with asterisk is not too helpfull.
So:
- the XRA can be easily dialed in using a PSTN, but to the same PBX there are a couple of analog trunks that come from a GSM operator (through a multiplexer unit that de-modulates the signal into analog lines) - no success with them, but I think that should be normal?
- dial out from a Alcatel DECT 300 station to some number having an attendant answering cannot be heard at all, although it succesfully works from a standard analog line - DECT 300 has problems with in-band signalling?
- a simple scenario: interior number 100 should not be called by any other internal line except, let's say - 111; tried to set it up from user/stations, selected line 100, sel. diversion -> line 1: active, selected no. as 111 and click ok - however, seems that the effect is not the intended one: 111 can't transfer calls any more, so I guess that either this feature is not available or I'm doing something wrong.

Hi,
Yes, that is normal with the GSM not being able to get into xra. Strictly land lines only for this!
Your problem with the dect could be the mf transparency isn't activated while you are on the call. You can turn this on permanently in this extensions features, but it will cause havoc to the transferring of calls! So watch out for this!
You last problem with only ext 111 being able to ring 100 could be solved using the manager/secretary relations?
Hope this helps,
SMT

SMT, thank you again for the precise answers. I will be testing the settings you have recommended during today.
Kindly appreciated!
