OmniPCX Complete System Reset / Cold Reset

Hi Everyone,
I have currently taken over a network system that also incoporates OmniPCX Office Medium; revision alzgb210/091.001. Unfortunately due to various issues with the installer they are unwilling to reveal the password details for the current system.
Is there anyway I can perform a cold reset/total system reset (losing current configuration information not so much of an issue) without having access to the passwords the installer is unwilling to provide?
Any help would be gratefully received.
Thanks

You can use LoLa and reload the software.

Thanks for the quick response,
I take it the guidelines on how to do this is posted already in another forum, if so, would you be able to guide me/linke me to it?
I know that you need to set the DIP switches on the CPU to Lola mode and reload the software but I don't have all the files available and some more guidance would be great.

Hi
You can do a total reset with a 4039 set and the operator password who is h*******. Go to operator menu, expert, reset.
Best regards

Hi Enio,
I have tried that, unfortunately using the default password on the 4039 handset it simply says "rejected" when I type the password. I also tried it on the admin, install, operator options too.
I think the only way forward is doing a LoLa reinstall which is really tricky as I don't have the correct tool to do it; only the PM5 support CD so I'm kind of stuck which is a bit frustrating.
Thanks
Omar

Hi Omar
Yes, then you will need to use LOLA. It the only way or asking to Alcatel to reset the password.
Hi TOt3nKOpf
I didn't know about the password. I will not do it again.
Best regards

No problem. We need to obey some rules in order not to upset Alcatel. You can imagine that we are monitored.

Hi all.
A customer missed the OXO password, but with the ALE support we weren't able to retrieve the factory PW.
The ALE support suggested us to do a cold reset or a LoLa.
Do these procedures reset the configuration only, bringing the OXO to the purchase stage (factory reset) or do we have to retrieve the release and the relative licenses through Alcatel?
Thank you in advance.
