Hi all,

i made a mistake when i wanted to change the AOS version of my switch.
I copied bad image files in working and certified folder :?

So i tried to follow this procedure:http://alcatelunleashed.com/viewtopic.p ... rt*#p30384

But when i want to send a file, i had an error: "No connection with the remote system" (translation from french to english, i don't know if it's the right message)

For information : I use Hyperterminal v5.1
I tested zmodem transfert between 2 computers and it works.

If you have any idea ...

I never used HyperTerminal for that. I suggest you get SecureCRT or TeraTerm (http://ttssh2.sourceforge.jp/).

The procedure is confirmed to work.

I have the same problem with TeraTerm.

In fact i don't follow exactly this procedure because i don't have a couter decreasing.

So i changed the baudrate and the flag using:
[Miniboot]->bootChange
I don'k use this command because i don't know if it is useful :
bootm 0xff900000
Then the working and certified folders are already created and they contain *.img files, boot.cfg and certs.pem files.
So i made a cd "certified" and at this moment
[Miniboot]->sysStartZmodem
It displays this message :
Upload directory: /flash/certified
rz ready to receive file, please start upload (or send 5 CTRL-X's to abort).
**B0100000023be50
Then File->Transfert->Zmodem->Send...
I choose my img file but the upload never starts :(

I already tried to delete all img files in my folders.

The "bootm + 0x memory address" command is a uboot command to go to the Miniboot. As you are already in the Miniboot you can skip that step. If you have no counter decreasing you are running a very old chassis where the "interrupt boot"-jumper wasn't set per default. Anyway - we don't need that as you go to the Miniboot already.

Did the console-speed actually change after you "tried"? You should set it to 115200 on switch & teraterm and reboot to miniboot again.

Now you delete the *.img files from the certified folder and use the zModem command to upload the images.

I don't have a OS6600 right now but I tried it at that time ...

Here is another topic which might help: http://alcatelunleashed.com/viewtopic.php?f=137&t=5763
