Hello,

Is it possible to reset the general mailbox password, I can easily reset individual mailbox passwords from the PCMMC but cannot find any options to reset the main common mailbox.

The phone company who supported our system are no longer in business and neglected to tell me the password.

Can you help?

Regards,
HM

From PM5, go to System Miscellaneous > Password.

In the section labelled "Reset Password", choose "Attendant" or "Operator" (depending on which language your PM5 is installed with) and press the reset button. It will be defaulted back to help1954.

So for instance, if i dial 800 then dial 0 for common mailbox it then asks me for a password which has to be 4 digits. How do i change that password, can it be done from PM5?

From PM5 - No, only from set 4034/4035, and only 8 digits(symbols) - not 4.
