is there any link to any version of oxe (vmware) for download.

No, there isn't. But there are posts about how to make your own image. Use search feature to find them.

Well if you think that is a shame then you are welcome to build it and make it available. Be sure that it contains all features and configurations everyone needs and don't forget to maintain the releases.
