Problem with the console 2.5.0

hello,
i am running a oxe simulation in R9, all is working fine, i can telnet it, but i don't have any prompt (xa000001>) on the vmware console, i have the feedback if i do something in telnet ( login, rstcpl ....) but no prompt so i can't do any command with it.

What kind of installation are you used ? Appliance or Blade ?
When you choose appliance, no console are used by the OXE, only V24 (ttyS0). You can connect to this port whith proxy or software like vmgateway.
If you choose Blade, console is activated and you can use this to connect or manage OXE.
Activation of the console is in /etc/inittab and in /boot/grub/menu.lst to redirect information on serial port during boot operation.

Thanks for your reply, i am in Blade server. My serial port is working, but i don't have any prompt, just the feedback on the screen.

If you know linux configuration, you can verify /etc/inittab file to check.
Normally, you are running in level 3.
You have a logfile about installation in the /root directory.
